David A. Rubin has been named to the American Society of Landscape Architects’ (ASLA) Council of Fellows in the “Works” Category, after nomination by the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of ASLA. This honor recognizes his mastery of design in significant works that have advanced the art, stewardship, and social responsibility of landscape architecture. David’s elevation to the Council of Fellows honors his decades of successful practice encompassing diverse typologies – arts-centered institutional work, urban streetscapes, plazas, parks, and planning projects, as well as infrastructure. His work is exemplary of an “empathy-driven” approach that that celebrates and facilitates dialogue and an elevated human experience through landscape.
David will join a talented cohort of 30 other Fellows to be inducted to the Council at an investiture ceremony during this year’s ASLA Annual Meeting, to be held in October 2018 in DAVID RUBIN Land Collective’s hometown of Philadelphia.
