DAVID RUBIN Land Collective is seeking an entry-level landscape designer and an experienced landscape architect with project management as prime, construction, and compelling design experience to join the studio. We’re looking for enthusiastic, design-minded collaborators who represent the ethos and goals of the studio in both their temperament and their design skills. The ideal candidates will have excellent visioning skills, with a strong portfolio in aesthetic expression; they must be able to convey design ideas through compelling renderings and graphic design. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture and will be expected to perform a broad range of tasks within the studio. The landscape designer’s role will include design, rendering, graphics for presentations, preparation of construction documents, and (limited) experience in construction administration. The landscape architect’s position will include compelling design experience, rendering, construction documentation, construction administration, and team engagement, including project management.
Candidates must have excellent design skills and aesthetic sensibilities. The positions require proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino. Horticulture, site sustainability, and other technical knowledge is a plus. Candidates must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture.
