POSITION SUMMARY: MARKETING MANAGER
DAVID RUBIN Land Collective is seeking a full-time, in-studio Marketing Manager with a minimum of 2-years A/E experience to support the studio in day-to-day marketing efforts. Land Collective is a landscape architecture, urban design, and planning studio entering its 10th year of practice with offices in Philadelphia and Indianapolis. Our studio is driven by design empathy and emphasizes holistically-sustainable principles, with social sustainability leading the design effort.
This position is full-time and will be based in Philadelphia, PA. The Marketing Manager position will work closely with the principal and the Business Development Director, will manage and be supported by our Studio Coordinator, and will collaborate with all members of the studio. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating the execution of all marketing efforts, including driving firm awareness, building brand identity, informing business development, understanding client needs and goals, and producing marketing content and deliverables to support these efforts.
Our new Marketing Manager should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well organized and detail oriented, and bring knowledge of A/E marketing strategy, campaigns, and project pursuits. Clear, cohesive, and compelling writing skills are required, along with the ability to produce consistent messaging. Marketing content will reflect the mission and visual language of the studio, but be tailored to every prospective client and audience. The position requires organization and management of multiple projects with differing timelines and firm deadlines. This team member must exhibit maturity, flexibility, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and grace under pressure. An appreciation for art and landscape is valued, as is an understanding of the design fields (landscape, architecture, planning). This role reports directly to the Business Development Director and Principal of Land Collective, David Rubin. Our current Marketing Manager is departing for graduate school with a newfound love for Landscape Architecture, and will be present for the application process in addition to an overlap in the position to set the new Marketing Manager up for success.
