EPA Says “Canal Park Represents The Cutting Edge of Multi-Functional Urban Park Design”

In an article created by the Environmental Protection Agency entitledIntegrating Stormwater Management and Public Amenities through a Public-Private Partnership: Canal Park – Washington, D.C.,” the EPA acknowledges the park as “the cutting edge of multi-functional urban park design”. The case study was created and issued by the Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds. It endorses Canal Park as it was intended to be, both a vital component of green urban infrastructure and socilally-purposeful neighborhood amenity.
