Taylor Burgess Featured in World Landscape Architecture

Recent academic work of Taylor Burgess is featured in the current issue of World Landscape Architecture, which focuses on Large Ideas/Large Scale Projects and the ability of landscape to transform cities. The group project, done with Stefanie Loomis and Emily Van Geldern, entitled Seeding Shade, provided a design framework that utilized the momentum of a UNESCO declaration of a zone in the Andes Range of Columbia to address the global and local issues of population growth, falling coffee prices, deforestation, tourism, and climate change currently threatening the coffee cultural landscape.
