DAVID RUBIN Land Collective seeks an experienced landscape architect to join our studio. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture, with at least 10 years’ relevant experience. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a broad range of tasks within the studio, including but not limited to marketing and business development, project management, informing projects with design ideas that balance spatial- and form-based matters, project and staff management, proposal development, drawing production, technical review and all aspects of construction administration processes. Of particular importance is the desire and capacity to mentor junior staff.
DAVID RUBIN Land Collective seeks a Landscape Architect with 3 – 5 years’ experience to join our studio. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture (with a demonstrable focus on landscape matters), with the intent to be licensed and experience in the design and construction of significant landscape projects. Project Management and team leadership are key components of the position, as is a desire to inform younger minds. An appreciation for current construction methods and excellent client skills are important, as is an attention to detail.
DAVID RUBIN Land Collective seeks a Landscape Designer with 0-2 years’ experience to join our studio. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture (with a demonstrable focus on landscape matters), and will be expected to perform a broad range of tasks within the studio, including but not limited to: informing projects with design ideas that balance spatial and form-based matters, rendering, graphics for presentations, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration. Landscape Designers will work in collaboration with Project Managers and leadership in the studio in support of project realization.
All of the potential candidates above should have excellent design skills and aesthetic sensibilities, and the ability to render ideas digitally and by hand. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with an appreciation for the utilization of other digital programs, including Rhino, and model-making as an integral part of the design process. Horticulture, site sustainability, and other technical knowledge is a plus.
