Working as Prime, David Rubin led this effort in collaboration with Temple University to establish a development plan for both Temple’s Main Campus and its Health Sciences Center. The plan will guide Temple as it grows into a top tier research university within North Philadelphia’s urban landscape. The plan provides recommendations for long-term and short-term goals and creates design solutions for enhancing public space, improving the campus experience for Temple’s students, faculty and visitors. By recognizing the importance of the University within its locale and by connecting to local community groups, the plan will help to address the broader context of Temple’s role in the city and establish Temple University as a destination in North Philadelphia.
