LAND COLLECTIVE has been selected to create a vision for the historic landscape of the Villa Ludovisi in Rome. Although a fraction of its former 90-acre size, the 1622 villa still holds significant treasures within its walls, including the only Caravaggio oil on plaster in the world. In collaboration with leading scholars and the Villa’s owners, Prince and Princess Boncompagni Ludovisi, LAND COLLECTIVE will create a framework plan to bring the Villa landscape into the 21st century while respecting the rich history of the site.
